ABout the Artist, Linda Ryan

Linda Ryan Lives in Beautiful Santa Barbara, California, a rich source of inspiration and natural beauty. After having lived in Maui, Hawaii for an extended period, she and her family relocated to Santa Barbara, where she began painting in earnest. Prior to that, she had been involved in business, although art had always been of great interest to her.

Linda found that her watercolor art gained wide exposure by painting in miniature and creating a line of beautiful art cards, each of which is a frameable piece of art in itself. From that, she has gone on to do custom cards for clients, whether it be a corporate Christmas card or an entirely unique invitation. She has also become known for her home portraits, which includes creating cards from the larger original painting. More recently, she has also been painting in oils, with landscapes predominating. Her work in oil are on display at her studio and various locations in Santa Barbara.

Linda and her husband Rick appreciate raising their two daughters in the great environment Santa Barbara has to offer. They are involved in many areas of life there, and enjoy the ocean as well. They love to meet new people, and Linda welcomes calls or visits to her studio.
