ABout the Artist, Linda Ryan

Linda Ryan has recently returned to living on Maui full-time, after 20 years in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. She is excited to be back on the island where she and her husband Ricky started their marriage in 1973.

Linda began painting in earnest in 1995, studying with Rick Stich, Ken Auster, Micheal Drury, and James Armstrong. Her greeting card line gained wide acceptance, each card being a frameable piece of art in itself. She became known for custom and corporate card designs, including unique invitations and Christmas cards. Her larger original oil and watercolor paintings have earned various awards and are collected by individuals and businesses.

Linda is thrilled to be painting Maui landscapes, cloudscapes and figurative pieces in this new chapter of life. Her most recent pieces can be seen on this website under the tab "Maui Days and Beyond". She welcomes visits to her studio in Kahana and inquiries about commissioned pieces. She is also available for private and group lessons.
